What We Collect

The six-step form at /book-a-call. When you fill in the form, we receive the answers you type: your name, your work email, your company website, and (if you choose to answer) the questions your buyers ask AI engines, the companies they compare you with, and what you'd like AI engines to recommend your brand for. We also receive a time stamp, the page the submission came from, and whether you asked us to suggest questions for you.

The contact form at /contact. When you send a message, we receive your name, your email, your website, the reason you got in touch, and the message you wrote.

Research email sign-up. If you sign up to hear about new research, we receive your email address. The sign-up is run by Buttondown, our email provider.

Usage data. When you visit any page, Google Analytics (run through Google Tag Manager) records usage information: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, how you arrived, and how you moved around the site. We do not pass your name, email or form answers to Google Analytics.

Cookies. We use Google Analytics cookies only to measure how the site is used. You can turn analytics off with the Turn off analytics link; the choice is remembered on this browser.

Who Processes It

We use three third parties to run the site and talk to you:

• Netlify hosts the website and receives the form submissions above. netlify.com/privacy.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC) records the usage data above. policies.google.com/privacy.
• Buttondown runs the research email list. buttondown.email/privacy.

The services listed above collect and process it on our behalf. We never sell it.

Netlify and Google may process data in the US, under standard safeguards.

How We Use It

We use your details to reply to you and prepare for our call, and analytics to improve the site.

How Long We Keep It

Form submissions are kept for as long as you remain in contact with us, and for up to three years after our last conversation. Research email list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is kept as set in our Google Analytics account.

Your Rights

You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete it, or to stop using it, by emailing contact@ranking-atlas.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from the research email list from any email it sends.

You can complain to your data protection regulator (in the UK, the ICO).
